Bixel Exchange is Los Angeles' Center for Innovation and Technology. We are hosted at the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce.
We cultivate talent and empower entrepreneurs with the goal of creating a more prosperous Los Angeles.
We do this through our two core programs:
Tech Ed Partnerships serves a critical role as the business intermediary, connecting L.A.’s top tech employers to diverse, under-represented high school and community college students that are seeking access and exposure to technology careers.
The Startup Launch SBDC helps founders launch and scale sustainable companies through one-on-one mentorship, specialized workshops and access to our vetted entrepreneurial community.
Funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with:
Founder and Head of Strategy, Robyn Young & Co.
Robyn Young is a branding specialist and compulsive maker of things. An ambitious young creative with a strong vision and eye for creativity, Robyn's main focus is a seamless connection between strategy and design. With a professional pedigree that includes market research for top commercial brands like Nike and Target, and branded content for UCLA, Modern Luxury and Everyday Health, Robyn has a vast understanding of what sticks.
Now as the founder of her own branding studio, she pours passion into everything she does - brainstorming unique brand strategies, overseeing the creative process, teaching workshops on branding, building a DIY Branding online program (coming 2018), and offering inspiration (and the occasional pep talk) for other startup founders.
Robyn Young & Co. is a boutique branding studio creating memorable brands that attract through strategy + design. We work closely with established small businesses and entrepreneurs who are ready to level-up their brand. Together, we discover their unique brand identity and create authentic, modern, and exceptional designs that connect with their customers.
Build a Unique Brand that Attracts - People often think of branding as just a logo, business cards, and their website. But a brand is so much more than that. In today’s saturated digital market your branding can be used as a business strategy in helping you stand out from the crowd.
By personifying your brand and determining your unique selling point, vision, core values, and your target customers, you will find innovative ways to connect with your customers.
Whether you're a business owner, entrepreneur, freelancer, or simply have a side hustle, you'll walk away with clarity on how to develop a brand that attracts. Hear how successful companies have built their brands and use the frameworks within the workshop to create your own brand strategy on the day.
Whether you are transforming your existing business, just starting out, or wanting to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of branding, in this workshop you will learn:
•How to create a clear vision to communicate your brand
•How to position your brand in the marketplace
•How to define your target audience
•How to ensure consistency with your brand to build customer engagement
Please come to the workshop with a laptop and notepad and pen. Students will gain the most from this workshop if they have a clear idea of their vision for their future, and a basic understanding of their market and ideal customer, however, all students will takeaway an understanding of the frameworks and how they can be applied when developing a brand strategy.
